Arctic LNG 2 reviews suggestions, demands, and concerns coming from the indigenous peoples of the North and does what is within its powers to help both the region in general and individual indigenous families. For instance, the Company helped build a school provided with state-of-the-art equipment in the Tazov District. Also, a reindeer slaughterhouse was built at the request of the reindeer herding community. On top of that, the Company regularly assists the indigenous population by providing transport support, supplying food, firewood, medicines, and helping with other household issues.

Arctic LNG 2 pays heed to the opinions of the indigenous peoples when taking Project-related decisions. The Company and nomadic Nenets people agreed on the locations of deer crossings over Project's linear infrastructure as early as at the Project design phase, in order to preserve the traditional way of life of the indigenous peoples.

Arctic LNG 2 plans to continue its dialog with the indigenous peoples throughout the entire life cycle of the Project.
