APCS engineer (Honeywell, Moscow)

Duties:
Provide engineering support for LNG Plant personnel as part of the APCS discipline (automated process control system).
Develop engineering solutions for operation and modification of APCS equipment.
Provide engineering support for APCS.
Use risk and reliability management methods.
Maintain and repair APCS components.
Take part in investigation of incidents related to APCS.
Provide technical support in connection with installation and commissioning of the facilities to be put into operation.
Ensure communication with LNG Plant personnel on the following matters:
  1. Reaching agreement on the works on and integrated approach to equipment and system modifications;
  2. Consideration of equipment maintenance issues arising during engineering of new facilities and modification of the existing ones;
  3. Risk assessment, prevention of technical incidents and emergencies.
Support information security of APCS.
Create PLC project backups for packaged equipment in a timely manner.

Requirements:
A university degree in a technical field
At least 5 years in engineering positions, at least 3 years in oil and gas or on LNG projects.
Experience at a major hazard facility, oil or gas treatment facility.
Good grasp of fundamentals in oil and gas processing. Experience with control and protection systems that are essential for LNG Plant's operation, such as distributed control systems (preferably Honeywell PKS), process shutdown systems, safety instrumented systems (preferably Safety Manager), fire and gas systems, rotating equipment monitoring systems, and PA/GA.
Good grasp of the integrated control and safety system in terms of its purpose, operating principle, technical parameters, maintenance, composition.
Must know the basics of and interfaces for data transfer (such as Modbus/Profibus/OPC).
Experience in planning and conducting maintenance. Experience in upgrading control systems for ICSS/PLC/HMI, updating system configuration and firmware upgrades.
Experience in investigating the causes of equipment/process shutdowns.
Well-versed in: laws and regulations, GOST, SNiP, PUE, norms and methods that pertain to the Automated Process Control Systems and Instruments Subdivision; international standards IEC, ANSI, ISA;
Cybersecurity principles. Well-versed in HSE rules and regulations, occupational hygiene and fire safety.
