Mechanical work preparer (Moscow)

DUTIES:
• Preparing work orders (process sheets) for repairs of dynamic equipment (compressors, internal combustion engines, pumps, fans, gearboxes, etc.) and static equipment (pressure vessels and equipment, heat exchangers, valves, etc.);
• Participating directly in planning of method statements and corrective maintenance of dynamic and static equipment that falls within the remit of the team;
• Working with interfacing teams that are involved in repairs;
• Participating in planning of integrated works; analyzing bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual plans and taking part in making them;
• Implementing actions aimed to improve equipment repair process, reduce labor intensity and cost of repairs, enhance quality and efficiency of equipment use;
• Participating in investigation of equipment failures together with the Chief Engineer's team and manufacturer to conduct the root cause analysis;
• Updating the quality control system in effect (and facilitating it);
• Participating in investigations of excessive wear and failures;
• Creating requests and following up the order at every step up to delivery to the Plant's warehouse;
• Participating in compiling the list of materials and equipment within the remit of the team to form the overall budget of the Maintenance and Repair Division.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Well-versed in design and principles behind the following equipment: axial, centrifugal, screw and reciprocating compressors, turbines and associated equipment, internal combustion engines, centrifugal, screw, piston, reciprocating, submersible, etc. pumps, pressure vessels and equipment, heat exchangers, valves, pressure safety valves, pipelines of various purposes;
• Good grasp of standards and methods that apply to rotating equipment, including Russian and international standards (GOST, regulations of certifying authorities, ISO, API, etc.);
• Well-versed in methods of installing, commissioning, refurbishing and repairing mechanical equipment;
• Good grasp of the PM module in SAP (or similar, as relevant for the position).
