DUTIES:
• Facilitating engineering support of the LNG Plant's production personnel to the extent applicable to the job.
• Developing and approving technical solutions for operating and improving the automated process control system equipment.
• Engineering support and maintenance of the automated process control system equipment.
• Applying and implementing methods for risk and reliability management.
• Participating in development of annual financial plans and budgets to enable scheduled maintenance program (accounting for possible unplanned repairs).
• Developing the maintenance procedure for the automated process control system equipment, and keeping it [procedure] up-to-date.
• Determining the need for spare parts to the extent that is applicable to the Automated Process Control Systems Subdivision; ordering the required materials and equipment; following up the procurement up to the delivery to the warehouse.
• Participating in investigation of accidents as pertains to the Automated Process Control Systems Subdivision; resolving technical emergencies; developing and implementing action plans to prevent emergencies.
• Facilitating technical support in connection to installing and commissioning the facilities that are put into operation.
• Maintaining information security of the automated process control system.
• Consulting the operations team in connection to the automated process control system.
• Complying with the HSE requirements in effect.
• Complying with the Employee Handbook.
• Conducting other tasks that pertain to the job description.
REQUIREMENTS:
• At least 5 years of experience at a major hazard facility, oil or gas processing facility.
• Good grasp of fundamentals in oil and gas processing.
• Track record of managing service contracts for over $5 million.
• Experience with control and protection systems that are essential for LNG Plant's operation.
• Good grasp of integrated control and safety system in terms of its purpose, operating principle, technical parameters, upkeep and maintenance, content and repair.
• Must know the basics and interfaces for data transfer (such as Modbus/Profibus/OPC);
• Must have experience in planning and conducting maintenance. Must have background in upgrading control systems for ICSS/PLC/HMI, updating system configuration and firmware upgrades.
• Must have experience in investigating root causes of equipment or process failures and in reinstating the equipment or process that failed.
• Well-versed in: laws and regulations, GOST, SNiP, PUE, norms and methods that pertain to the Automated Process Control Systems and Instruments Subdivision; international standards IEC, ANSI, ISA; cybersecurity principles. Well-versed in HSE rules and regulations, occupational hygiene and fire safety.
• Good command of the English language (to keep up correspondence, participate in meetings)
